This latest innovation from the optical specialists sets standards in the segment of high-power, ultra-flat pocket cameras. And it is not only the small measurements of the new digital camera that make this MINOX so pocket-friendly: weighing in at just 114 grams, this is a true flyweight. MINOX DC 7411

The large TFT display of the MINOX DC 7411 takes up almost the entire back of the camera. Getting the subject in view and assessing the picture result afterwards is a real joy. The CCD image sensor with a resolution of up to 7.2 Megapixels as well as the powerful, multicoated MINOCTAR lens deliver exceptionally sharp and brilliant pictures. This MINOX DC 7411 even keeps its excellent figure when the internal 3x zoom function is selected: thanks to clever mirror alignment mechanics inside the body the incoming light beam is diverted and the lens remains in the same position, even when varying the focal length. An autofocus feature that is fast and precise in every situation as well as the short shutter delay enable spontaneous snapshots as well as a rapid picture sequence.

The high resolution of the sensor allows top-quality small poster prints and big enlargements when processing the images later on. To make sure that camera shake does not impair the image results in the telephoto range the MINOX DC 7411 features an electronic image stabilizer. This feature also provides support for long exposures under difficult light conditions or for macro shots. An electronic face detection feature makes it easier and quicker to get portraits in focus. With the extreme macro function the photographer can capture a pin-sharp definition of objects at a distance of just ten millimeters.

Several flash functions and the possibility to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor from ISO 100 to ISO 1000 in five levels allow individual adjustment of the camera to outside conditions.

The white balance is also automatic or can be adjusted manually in six steps. The data are stored on an SD card with a capacity of up to four gigabyte (SDHC), the camera also has 32 megabyte internal memory. Power is supply by a high capacity lithium ion battery. Fitted with a PictBridge interface the DC 7411 can be connected to appropriate peripheral equipment at home or when out and about, besides this, a digital USB 2.0 interface allows the uncomplicated transfer of data to a computer.

Preparation is simple - insert the Ink and Paper Integrated Cartridge in the printer and the memory card into the card slot. To connect with PictBridge compatible devices or a computer, a USB cable is used. Also, wireless connection (IrDA, Bluetooth*1, Wireless LAN*2) is supported. With the 3.0-inch LCD monitor, check images on memory cards and select various print styles and the Creative Print options. Images are automatically optimized. When printing from a memory card, red eye can also be corrected. Printing speed*3 - just 53 seconds to create credit card size prints. L size images print in 61 seconds and Postcard size pictures require 69 seconds.
